Fri “APRON EAST VOL.2” 영국 런던 Apron Records의 대표 뮤지션 Steven Julien의 내한! 앨범 발매를 기념하여 10월 17일 서울 볼레로에서 Apron 파티가 열립니다. 최근 나이키, 디키즈와의 협업, 그리고 지난 연말에 공개된 DJ-Kicks 앨범을 기점으로 미국과 브라질, 한국과 일본 등 세계 곳곳에서 특별한 밤을 선사한 Apron 고유의 강렬한 에너지는 유럽을 넘어 세계적인 관심을 받고 있습니다. 이번 파티에는 앨범에 참여하게 된 한국의 DJ Jeyon, Isaac, Hookuo, 그리고 한국을 대표하는 DJ Soulscape이 함께합니다. 아시아 음악과 문화에 큰 흥미를 느끼고 꾸준히 교류해 온 Steven Julien은 2023년 앨범을 공개하며 Ko Saito, JMS Khosah 등 도쿄에서 활동하고 있는 프로듀서들을 소개하며 Apron 팬들의 컬트적 인기를 누렸습니다. 그리고 오는 10월 10일, 이 시리즈의 두번째 작품 『Apron East Vol.2』가 공개됩니다. 2000년대 아시아에서 선풍적인 인기를 누리며 세계적인 문화로 자리 잡은 비디오게임을 주제로 다채로운 스타일의 음악을 선보입니다. 이번 앨범에는 한국의 DJ Jeyon, Isaac, Hookuo, 일본의 신예 DJ Dreamboy, 그리고 도쿄에서도 왕성한 활동을 이어가고 있는 Benedek 등이 참여했습니다. London-based Apron Records’ founder and leading artist Steven Julien will be performing in Seoul on October 17 at Bolero, in celebration of the release of Apron East Vol.2. Following his recent collaborations with Nike and Dickies, as well as the acclaimed DJ-Kicks release at the end of last year, Steven Julien has delivered unforgettable nights across the UK, Brazil, US, Korea, and Japan. Apron’s distinct and powerful energy continues to capture global attention, resonating far beyond Europe. The Seoul edition of the Apron Party will feature DJ Jeyon, Isaac, Hookuo, whom are part of Apron East Vol.2. Legendary DJ Soulscape, one of Korea’s most respected figures in the scene joins the party as well. Steven Julien’s connection to Asia runs deep. In 2023, he released 『Apron Japan Vol.1』, introducing Tokyo-based producers Ko Saito and J M S Khosah, which quickly became a cult favorite among Apron fans. On October 10, the series continues with the release of Apron East Vol.2, a project inspired by the video games that defined Asia in the 2000s and became a global cultural movement.
